Leaked image reveals Realme GT Neo 3's design: Check here
Realme is reportedly working on a new GT series handset, called the GT Neo 3. In the latest development, a render and key specifications of the smartphone have surfaced online courtesy of a tipster on Weibo. There is no official word regarding the phone's presence, but if the leaked render is to be believed, it will have a trendy design.
Why does this story matter?
The Realme GT Neo 3 will be the successor to the GT Neo2 that was launched last year. We first caught wind of the new model earlier this year via a tipster. The handset is expected to arrive in March or April this year. With superior hardware and a new design pattern, it could prove to be a trendsetter in the upper mid-range segment.
The handset will sport a 120Hz display
Realme GT Neo 3 is likely to have a punch-hole design with slim bezels and shoulder trigger buttons. On the rear, it will sport a gray-colored panel with a thick dual-tone band below the rectangular camera bump. The handset will bear a 6.62-inch Full-HD+ E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9.
It could flaunt a 50MP main camera
The Realme GT Neo 3 is said to have a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 main shooter, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide sensor, and an unspecified 2MP lens. Up front, it may sport a 16MP selfie snapper.
It will pack a 5,000mAh battery
The Realme GT Neo 3 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it will boot Android 12-based Realme UI and house a 5,000mAh battery with 100W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset should offer support for 5G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a Type-C port.
Realme GT Neo 3: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability of the Realme GT Neo 3 will be announced at the time of its launch. However, we expect it to be priced around Rs. 40,000.
