Realme's most powerful phone series officially teased in India
Realme is gearing up to launch its flagship GT 2 series in India. In the latest development, the company has officially teased the arrival of the vanilla GT 2 and the GT 2 Pro in the country. The handsets were first introduced in China earlier this year. Previously, a leak had claimed that the GT 2 Pro would arrive in India by March-end.

The GT 2 Pro has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection
The Realme GT 2 series features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The GT 2 sports a 120Hz, 6.62-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, while the GT 2 Pro bears a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen with a 1-120Hz variable refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. They offer up to 1,400-nits of peak brightness.
They boast a 50MP main camera
The Realme GT 2 sports a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The GT 2 Pro flaunts a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP microscope lens. They have a 16MP and 32MP selfie snapper, respectively.
The phones house a 5,000mAh battery
The Realme GT 2 and GT 2 Pro are powered by a Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, respectively, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Under the hood, they boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. The handsets offer support for Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G.

The official pricing and availability details of the Realme GT 2 series in India will be announced at the time of its launch. For reference, in China, the range starts at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 31,000) and goes up to CNY 4,499 (around Rs. 54,000).
