Realme GT 2 Pro officially teased in India; launch imminent
Realme is gearing up to launch its GT 2 Pro smartphone in India soon. The company's Vice-President, Madhav Sheth, has now teased the handset on Twitter, claiming it will arrive soon with "the best flat display among all Android phones." The Realme GT 2 Pro was announced in China last month alongside the vanilla GT model.

Why does this story matter?
The Realme GT 2 Pro is the company's first premium flagship smartphone with an LTPO AMOLED display and Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It also boasts features like "HyperSmart" antenna switching technology, "Paper Tech Master Design," and a 150-degree ultra-wide camera. The handset will go against Samsung's S22 and S22+ models as well as other Android flagships in India.
The phone sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display
The Realme GT 2 Pro features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, it has a triple camera setup. It bears a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1400-nits of peak brightness. The handset has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front.
It features a 50MP primary camera
The Realme GT 2 Pro flaunts a triple rear camera module comprising a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP ultra-micro lens. A 32MP selfie shooter is available up front.
It boots Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0
The Realme GT 2 Pro draws power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. It boots Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. For connectivity, it offers support for Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.

In India, the official pricing and availability details of the Realme GT 2 Pro will be announced at the time of launch, which is expected to happen soon. For reference, in China, the handset starts at CNY 3,899 (roughly Rs. 46,000).
