Ahead of March 5 launch, Realme Band's features revealed
Alongside the new Realme 6 series smartphone, Realme is all set to introduce its first-ever fitness band, the Realme Band, in India on March 5. In the run-up to the launch event, the company has activated a teaser page for the wearable, revealing its design highlights and other key features. Here are more details.
Realme Band will come with a colored touchscreen
In terms of design, the Realme Band looks like any other fitness tracker available in the market. It has a rectangular, colored touch-screen and an adjustable as well as exchangeable silicon band. The main body also seems to have a capacitive home button placed below the screen. The wearable is IP68 water-resistant, and will come in Yellow, Olive Green, and Black strap options.
It will support real-time heart rate monitoring
According to the teaser page, the Realme Band will support real-time heart rate monitoring as well as sleep tracking. It will also support a host of fitness activities including biking, running, walking, hiking, climbing, yoga, and cricket.
It will come with a built-in USB-A connector
Alongside the aforementioned features, the Realme Band will come with a Cricket Mode that has been specially made for India. It will also support smart notifications for calls, messages, WhatsApp alerts, and reminders. Further, the device will come with a USB Direct Charge feature wherein you can plug the device directly into a USB charger.
Realme will host a 'Hate-To-Wait' sale on March 5
Realme will reveal other specifications of the device as well as its pricing and availability details at the launch event on March 5. The company has also announced that a 'Hate-to-Wait' sale will be hosted on the launch day from 2 PM to 4 PM.
