Realme C35 set to debut in India on March 7
Realme is gearing up to launch a new budget-range handset, the C35, in India. In the latest development, the company has announced that the phone will make its debut here on March 7. It was first introduced in Thailand last month. As for the key highlights, the handset features a Full-HD+ LCD display, a 50MP main camera, a UNISOC chip, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Why does this story matter?
Realme has seen incredible growth in India and currently has the second-largest share in the country's smartphone market. The brand's growth has been driven by feature-packed cost-effective handsets. The C35 is another phone that comes from the same mold. Although we don't know much about the India-specific version, it seems to be identical to the device that was launched in Thailand.
The handset features a Full-HD+ LCD display
The Realme C35 sports a waterdrop notch design with a prominent bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a rectangular camera unit. The handset packs a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7%, and 600-nits of peak brightness. It also has TUV Rheinland certification for eye protection.
It is equipped with a 50MP main camera
The Realme C35 flaunts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP black-and-white portrait lens. Up front, it sports an 8MP selfie shooter.
It packs a 5,000mAh battery
The Realme C35 is fueled by a UNISOC T616, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset offers support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and a Type-C port.
Realme C35: Pricing and availability
Realme will disclose the official pricing and availability details of the C35 in India at the time of its launch. In Thailand, it starts at THB 5,799 (roughly Rs. 13,600). We expect it to carry a price-tag in the same range in India.
