Realme C35 launched in India at Rs. 12,000: Details here
Chinese tech giant Realme has launched its C35 budget handset in India. To recall, it went official in Thailand last month. As for the highlights, the device has a Full-HD+ LCD display, a triple rear camera setup, an octa-core UNISOC T616 chipset, and a massive 5,000mAh battery. The smartphone will be up for grabs in the country from March 12 onward.
Why does this story matter?
Realme has the second-largest share in India's smartphone market and its growth has been driven by feature-packed cost-effective devices such as the C35. The handset arrives here as a successor to the C25, which was introduced in India last year. It takes on rivals such as the Redmi 10 Prime, Samsung Galaxy M12, as well as the Moto E40.
The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner
The Realme C35 has a waterdrop-notched design with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. On the rear, there is a triple camera setup housed within a squarish unit. The device packs a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) IPS LCD display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7%. It is available in Glowing Black and Glowing Green colors.
It sports a 50MP primary camera
The Realme C35 flaunts a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 2MP macro shooter (f/2.4), and a monochrome lens. On the front, it sports an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
It gets up to 128GB of internal storage
The Realme C35 draws power from an octa-core UNISOC T616 processor, linked with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The device boots Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. To ensure connectivity, the smartphone offers support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, a Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Realme C35: Pricing and availability
The Realme C35 starts at Rs. 11,999 for the base 4GB/64GB model and goes up to Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB/128GB variant. The smartphone was launched in India on Monday and will go on sale here at 12 pm on March 12.
