Realme C31 goes official in Indonesia; India launch date leaked
As the latest addition to its portfolio of budget smartphones, Realme has introduced a new C31 model in Indonesia. It carries a starting price of IDR 15,99,000 (around Rs. 8,500) for the base variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. Separately, according to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Realme C31 will be launched in India on March 31.

With the launch of the all-new C31, Realme aims to increase its presence in the entry-level smartphone segment in growing markets like Indonesia. According to Brar, the handset will arrive in India on March 31 with similar specifications as on the Indonesian variant. In India, the Realme C31 will rival budget smartphones from brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and Infinix.
The display supports 120Hz touch sampling rate
The Realme C31 features a waterdrop notch design with slim bezels, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a plastic body. On the rear panel, it has a triple camera setup and an LED flash unit packed inside a rectangular bump. The handset sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz touch sampling rate.
The main camera can shoot 1080p videos at 30fps
The Realme C31 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro snapper, and a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome lens. For selfies, there is a 5MP camera on the front. The rear main camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps, while the front camera is capable of shooting 720p videos at 30fps.
The handset is powered by a UNISOC T612 processor
The Realme C31 is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T612 processor along with an integrated Mali-G57 GPU. The handset runs on Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition and comes in 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants. It has a dedicated micro-SD card slot to expand the storage. Under the hood, the phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging via the Type-C port.

The Realme C31 bears a price-tag of IDR 15,99,000 (around Rs. 8,500) for the base 3GB/32GB variant and IDR 17,99,000 (approximately Rs. 9,500) for the 4GB/64GB configuration. The device is available in two color options: Light Silver and Dark Green.
