Realme A1 likely to sport waterdrop notch, Helio P70 chipset

Realme A1, expected to launch as the company's new budget smartphone, has been leaked in full glory.
According to Trending Leaks, the upcoming Realme phone will feature a waterdrop notched display, dual rear-camera, and mid-level internals including a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset.
Moreover, tipster Ishan Agarwal claims that Realme A1 will be positioned below Realme U1 in the company's product lineup.

According to leaked renders, the Realme A1 will look a lot like Realme U1.
Up front, the phone will have a Dewdrop notched display with a slim bottom bezel.
On the back, the glossy polycarbonate chassis will house a dual rear-camera setup with a fingerprint scanner.
And while its display specs are unknown, we can expect a full-HD+ display, much like Realme U1.

Camera
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The leak claims that Realme A1 will come with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
Up front, the phone is said to sport an 8MP selfie camera.
Moreover, like other Realme phones, we expect the main camera to offer AI-based photography features while the front camera should support face unlock functionality.

Under the hood
According to Trending Leaks, the Realme A1 will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core chipset, possibly the MediaTek Helio P70. Interestingly, the Realme U1 also comes with the same processor.
Moreover, the phone is expected to come with 2GB/3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage.
Lastly, the leak claims that Realme A1 will pack a 4,200mAh battery and run Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 out-of-the-box.

While we know Realme is working on this new budget range smartphone, we do not have a definite launch timeline as of now.
That said, tipster Ishan Agarwal claims that the company will "soon" launch Realme A1 in India, indicating a January unveiling.
Further, we can expect Realme A1 to be priced around Rs. 10,000, given it will be positioned below Realme U1.
