Realme 9 Pro series launched in India at Rs. 18,000
Realme has launched the much-anticipated 9 Pro series in India. The line-up starts at Rs. 17,999 and includes the 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ models. The former will be up for grabs from February 23, while the latter will be available from February 21. The handsets will go on sale via Flipkart, Realme.com, and partner retail outlets.

The Realme 9 Pro series arrives with premium features at a mid-range price-point. With features such as Light Shifting Design, Heart Rate Monitor, Vapor Chamber Cooling System, and Dynamic RAM Expansion, the handsets are expected to strengthen the company's position in the mid-range segment. The 9 Pro siblings join the 9i model that was introduced in India in January.
The Realme 9 Pro features a 120Hz display
The Realme 9 Pro series features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out and a noticeable bottom bezel. The 9 Pro has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while the 9 Pro+ sports an in-display fingerprint reader. The former bears a 120Hz, 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD display, whereas the latter offers a 90Hz, 6.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen. They are available in Sunrise Blue, Aurora Green, and Midnight Black color options.
They have a 16MP selfie camera
The 9 Pro is equipped with a triple rear camera arrangement, including a 64MP main shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The 9 Pro+ has a similar arrangement but with a 50MP primary snapper. The handsets sport a 16MP selfie snapper.
They run on Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12
The Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ are fueled by a Snapdragon 695 and MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. The devices pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging and a 4,500mAh battery with 60W fast-charging, respectively. At the heart, they boot Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0.
Realme 9 Pro series: Pricing and availability
The Realme 9 Pro starts at Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB/128GB model, whereas the 9 Pro+ carries a starting price-tag of Rs. 24,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. They will be up for grabs from February 23 and February 21, respectively. A discount of Rs. 2,000 will be available on HDFC Bank credit card, debit card, and EMI transactions.
