Ahead of launch, Realme 8 Pro's design and specifications leaked
Realme is all set to launch the Realme 8 and 8 Pro models in India on March 24. In the latest development, tipster Debayan Roy has claimed that the Pro variant will feature a 60Hz Super AMOLED display and 50W fast-charging support. Realme 8 Pro will sport a Full-HD+ display
The Realme 8 Pro will feature a punch-hole design with a slim bottom bezel and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will pack a quad camera module. The handset will bear a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) Super AMOLED screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. It will be offered in Infinite Blue, Infinite Black, and Illuminating Yellow color options.
It will have a 108MP main camera
The Realme 8 Pro will pack a quad rear camera setup comprising a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, it is likely to sport a 32MP selfie snapper.
The handset will draw power from a Snapdragon 720G processor
Realme 8 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 720G chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It will run on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 50W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
Realme 8 Pro: Pricing and availability
The official pricing and availability details of the Realme 8 Pro in India will be announced at the March 24 launch event. However, considering the expected specifications, the handset is likely to cost around Rs. 20,000.
