Realme will announce its 8 series of smartphones in India on March 24. The line-up includes the Realme 8 and 8 Pro models. In the run-up to the launch event, the company has kicked-off Realme Infinity Sale, wherein you can pre-book the handsets via Flipkart and Realme's official site by making an advance payment of Rs. 1,080. Everything to know about the blind sale
The Realme Infinity Sale is currently live and will end on March 22. To pre-book the Realme 8 or 8 Pro, you have to make an advance payment of Rs. 1,080 and then return on March 25, a day after the launch, to pay the balance amount. You can also avail "exciting gifts and offers" during the pre-sale process.
The duo will feature an AMOLED display
Realme 8 and 8 Pro will sport a punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels. On the rear, they will pack a quad camera setup. The handsets will bear a 6.4-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The standard variant will be offered in Cyber Black and Blue colors, whereas the Pro mode will come in Infinite Blue/Black and Illuminating Yellow colors.
The 8 Pro will boast of a 108MP primary camera
Realme 8 will offer a quad rear camera unit comprising a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. The 8 Pro will sport a similar camera arrangement but with a 108MP main sensor. On the front, the duo will pack a 16MP and 32MP selfie snapper, respectively.
They will offer 128GB of internal storage
Realme 8 and 8 Pro will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 and a Snapdragon 720G chipset, respectively, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. They will boot Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0. The vanilla model will pack a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support, while the Pro variant will house a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.

The official pricing details of the Realme 8 and 8 Pro in India will be announced at the March 24 launch event. However, considering the expected specifications, the line-up is likely to be priced at around Rs. 15,000-20,000.
