Realme 6i, with 48MP quad-camera, to be launched on March-17
Realme is all set to launch a new budget smartphone, the Realme 6i, on March 17. The Chinese tech giant has confirmed the arrival of the new handset through its official Myanmar Facebook page, and revealed some of its key details. The phone will come with a 48MP quad rear camera, 18W fast-charging support, and will be backed by a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset.
How will it look like?
It is still unclear if the Realme 6i will retain the design of its predecessor, the Realme 5i, or offer a new look like the recently-launched Realme 6 Pro and Realme 6 models. For reference, the Realme 5i sports a waterdrop notched design featuring a 6.5-inch LCD screen with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
The Realme 6i will house a 48MP quad camera
On the imaging front, the Realme 6i will come with a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a respectable 48MP primary lens. However, the details about the remaining three sensors are scarce at the moment.
Under the hood
The Realme 6i will be powered by an all-new MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor. As for memory options, it may offer up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. Under the hood, it would pack a solid 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support via USB Type-C port. Further, the phone will come with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VoLTE, and a headphone jack.
Will it arrive in India?
Realme will launch the 6i smartphone in Myanmar on March 17. There is no word on its availability in India yet. But, we expect the Chinese tech giant to bring the wallet-friendly handset to our shores in the coming months.
