Realme 5s to offer 48MP quad rear cameras, 5,000mAh battery
Realme is all set to launch the Realme 5s smartphone in India on November 20. The upcoming handset will arrive as the upgraded version of the budget-friendly Realme 5 model and will be launched alongside the company's much-awaited flagship, the X2 Pro. Meanwhile, a teaser page of the Realme 5s has gone live on Flipkart, revealing its waterdrop notched design and key specifications.
How will it look like?
According to the teaser, the Realme 5s will sport a waterdrop notch with thin bottom bezel up front. On the rear, the polycarbonate panel with diamond-cut finish will house quad cameras and physical fingerprint scanner- similar to the Realme 5. Further, the smartphone will offer a 6.51-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone will offer 48MP quad rear cameras
Just like the Realme 5, the Realme 5s will also house a quad rear camera module. However, it will get a bigger 48MP primary sensor in comparison to the 12MP main lens on the former. Apart from that, the company has not revealed the details about the selfie snapper and secondary sensors yet.
What about processor and RAM?
The Realme 5s is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, the phone will run Android Pie-based OS and pack a solid 5,000mAh battery. Lastly, it should offer all standard connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and headphone jack.
And, what about pricing?
There is no word on the pricing of Realme 5s yet. However, given the fact that it will arrive as the upgraded version of Realme 5, we expect the handset to cost upwards of Rs. 10,000. Once launched, the phone will lock horns with rivals such as Redmi Note 8 Pro, Vivo Z1 Pro, and Samsung Galaxy M30s.
