Razer's new cushion brings haptic immersion to your gaming setup
Razer, a top name in the gaming lifestyle scene, has just dropped the Freyja gaming cushion. Priced at $299.99 (around ₹25,100), this gadget is all about taking your gaming experience up a notch with haptic feedback that feels just like your game controllers. The cushion vibrates according to what's happening in the game, making it super immersive for gamers. You can grab it now on Razer's official website.
Gaming cushion was a hit at CES
The Freyja gaming cushion made its debut as "Project Esther" at CES, where it wowed everyone with its cool haptic feedback. Back then, it was anyone's guess if this groundbreaking product would ever hit the market. Razer has now officially launched the Freyja, showing they're all in on leveling up the gaming experience with cutting-edge tech.
Freyja's haptic feedback: How does it work?
The Freyja gaming cushion takes your gaming experience to a whole new level by transmitting vibrations from your controllers throughout your body. It's designed with multiple panels positioned behind and beneath you. Razer explains that this fantastic feature is powered by "multi-directional haptics driven by six advanced haptic motor actuators." Plus, you can connect it via Bluetooth or Razer's HyperSpeed Wireless connection for an even more immersive gaming session.
Kraken V4 Pro headphones with haptic feedback revealed
Along with the Freyja, Razer has also introduced the Kraken V4 Pro headphones. Priced at $399.99 (around ₹33,500), these headphones pack haptic feedback that'll make your head buzz! They can connect via Razer HyperSpeed and Bluetooth, or through USB and 3.5mm wired connections for maximum flexibility. It also ships with a small box—OLED Control Hub—for tweaking its vibratory feedback or adjusting effects. The first orders for both Freyja and Kraken V4 Pro will start shipping from October 7.
