Quick commerce platforms challenge traditional e-commerce model
The rise of quick commerce platforms like Blinkit, BigBasket, and Zepto, which promise delivery within 10 to 20 minutes, is disrupting the traditional e-commerce model. These platforms operate on a hyperlocal delivery model from warehouses or dark stores located close to customers. This allows them to fulfill orders much faster than conventional logistics chains used by traditional e-commerce sites.
Lightning-fast delivery: A game-changer in e-commerce
The speed of delivery is becoming a key differentiator that could sway customer preferences toward platforms like Blinkit, particularly for high-demand products like the iPhone 16. This shift reflects changing consumer preferences, with urban buyers valuing speed and convenience more than ever before. Quick commerce platforms are meeting this demand by offering instant delivery options for popular products.
