LG reveals the prices for its V30S ThinQ smartphones
LG Electronics has revealed the local prices for its latest V30S ThinQ and V30S+ ThinQ smartphones; they will go on sale in South Korea starting March 9. Both the AI-enabled smartphones, launched last week, were first unveiled days before the Mobile World Congress. As for their prices, LG V30S ThinQ will cost 1,048,300 KRW (Rs. 63,600) while the V30S+ ThinQ will cost 1,097,800 KRW (Rs. 66,600).
LG makes our choice simple
These phones can be differentiated only in terms of their storage capacities. The V30S ThinQ has 128GB while V30S+ ThinQ gets 256GB. Otherwise, both the phones run Android Oreo and feature a 6-inch QHD+ OLED FullVision display. For power and performance, both of them are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and a 3,300mAh battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
For the shutterbugs
In terms of camera specifications, both the smartphones sport a rear dual camera setup with a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor. For your favorite selfies and video calling features, both the phones bear a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera. And over and above the optics, LG has powered both the phones with several AI features as well.
Incorporated with AI for a new mobile experience
LG has offered several AI-based features via a software upgrade which can be broadly classified in two separate technologies - Vision AI and Voice AI. Vision AI uses the camera lens to offer three key features QLens, AI CAM and Bright Mode while the Voice AI offers voice recognition capabilities to run apps and change settings using voice commands.
