POCO X3 Pro bags BIS certification, launch in India imminent
POCO is gearing up to introduce the X3 Pro model in India soon. In the latest development, the handset, with model number M2102J20SI, has received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), hinting at its imminent launch in the country. In the recent days, the X3 Pro has also bagged certifications from TUV, FCC, EEC, and some other platforms.
POCO X3 Pro: At a glance
The POCO X3 Pro is expected to feature a punch-hole cut-out display with slim bezels. On the rear, it will house a quad camera setup. The handset is likely to come with a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) IPS LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The POCO X3 Pro will reportedly sport a quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor. The details of the other three lenses are not known as of now. The handset will pack a single camera on the front for selfies and video calling.
Under the hood
The POCO X3 Pro is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. It may run on Android 11-based MIUI for POCO and pack a 6,000mAh battery with fast-charging support. For connectivity, it will offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, and a Type-C port.
Availability and pricing
The official launch and pricing details of the POCO X3 Pro are yet to be revealed. However, considering the expected specifications, the handset should cost around Rs. 20,000.
