POCO X3 Pro bags NBTC certification, launch imminent
Xiaomi-backed POCO is gearing up to announce the X3 Pro smartphone soon. In the latest development, the handset has been spotted on the NBTC certification (via Pricebaba), hinting at its imminent launch. The listing confirms that the phone will only support 4G LTE. In the recent days, the X3 Pro has also bagged certifications from BIS, TUV, FCC, EEC, and some other platforms.
POCO X3 Pro: Design and display
The POCO X3 Pro is likely to feature a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an IP53-rated build quality. On the rear, it will house a quad camera unit. The handset will bear a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It is also tipped to offer a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication.
It will be equipped with a 48MP main camera
The POCO X3 Pro will sport a quad rear camera module, including a 48MP primary sensor and three other lenses, details of which are unknown as of now. On the front, it will pack a 20MP selfie shooter.
The handset will support 33W fast-charging
POCO X3 Pro will reportedly be fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it will run on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 and pack a 6,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device should offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a Type-C port.
