POCO Pad launching soon in India: What to expect
POCO is reportedly expanding its product line by entering the tablet market. The company's first-ever tablet, dubbed the POCO Pad, has received approval from Europe's EEC certification platform. This development was shared by Kacper Skrzypek, a reputable tipster, who also suggested that the new device might be a rebranded version of the newly launched Redmi Pad Pro. Rumors suggest that the POCO Pad might soon make its debut in India, marking POCO's first tablet release in the country.
Possible connection with Redmi Pad Pro
The Redmi Pad Pro, introduced in China, is considered the most powerful tablet under the Redmi brand due to its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. Skrzypek's post hinted that this device, identified by model number 2405CRPFDG and codenamed "dizi," will be released globally with Wi-Fi connectivity only, similar to its Chinese counterpart. This has led to speculation that the POCO Pad might share similar specifications with the Redmi Pad Pro.
Anticipated specifications of the POCO Pad
The POCO Pad is expected to feature a 12.1-inch IPS LCD screen with a 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip, similar to the Redmi Pad Pro, and may offer 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. Other potential features include an 8MP camera on both front and back panels, a hefty 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging, Android 14-based HyperOS, an audio jack, and Dolby Atmos-powered quad speakers.
