Design and colors variants of POCO M4 Pro revealed
POCO will launch its M4 Pro handset in India today. In the latest development, the design, camera setup, and color options of the smartphone have been revealed by the brand. The device will look similar to the 5G variant and shall sport a triple rear camera setup. It will be up for grabs in three shades.
Why does this story matter?
The POCO M4 Pro will serve as the 4G version of the POCO M4 Pro 5G model which was introduced in November last year. It will be geared toward those who do not want to spend extra money solely for 5G connectivity. The device is expected to be priced affordably in our market and shall offer decent looks, features, and specifications.
The handset will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner
The POCO M4 Pro will have a punch-hole display with a noticeable bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. On the rear, there will be "POCO" lettering and a triple camera setup. The device will sport a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and an IP53-rated body. It will be available in Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow shades.
It will get a 16MP selfie camera
The POCO M4 Pro will have a triple rear camera setup, featuring a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide snapper, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, there will be a 16MP snapper for selfies and video calling.
It may be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery
The POCO M4 Pro is tipped to draw power from a MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. For connectivity, the smartphone will offer support for VoLTE, a Type-C port, Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The device may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support and boot Android 11-based MIUI 12.5.
