Pixel 3 XL adding another notch: How to fix it
In a hilarious, albeit annoying, development, the all-new Pixel 3 XL is adding a second notch on the screen of the device. Here's a possible fix until Google comes to the rescue
Google has told Android Police that it is aware of the issue and is working on a fix, which will be coming soon. However, in case you're facing the problem, we'd suggest restarting the device right away. Several users have reported that the issue is temporary and the phone goes back to normal once it is rebooted. So, try that.

That said, it is worth noting that this isn't the first issue witnessed on the new Pixel phones. A little more than a week ago, several users reported that their new Pixel phones are not saving photos. For that too, Google has promised a fix.
