Panasonic launches new Android TVs, price starts at Rs. 30,000
India's smart television space is growing at a fast pace, and that is evident from the arrival of new brands like OnePlus and Motorola as well as the ever-expanding portfolio of established players like Xiaomi and TCL. In the latest such development, Panasonic has launched three new 4K Android TVs as part of its online-only brand called Sanyo. Here's our roundup.
The Sanyo Kaizen range offers 49-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch models
Panasonic's Sanyo Kaizen range comprises three new Android TVs- the XT-49A082U model that features a 49-inch display, the XT-55A082U with a 55-inch screen, and an XT-65A082U variant that has a 65-inch display.
All the models feature 4K LED displays
All the models feature bezel-less IPS LED screens with a 4K resolution and Dolby Video support. For audio, they pack 20W speakers along with support for Dolby Audio and DTS TruSurround technologies. Under the hood, all the models run on Android TV OS, bringing support for dedicated Google voice-search as well as hundreds of games and apps via the Google Play Store.
The TVs also get built-in Chromecast feature
All these Sanyo Kaizen 4K TVs come with a built-in Chromecast feature that allows you to cast/mirror content from your smartphone or other compatible device (like tablets or laptops) straight to the TV over a common wireless network.
Pricing and availability
Interestingly, Panasonic has aggressively priced its TVs to match the likes of TCL, Motorola, and Xiaomi which also offer several Android TVs in India. The Sanyo Kaizen 49-inch model is priced at Rs. 29,999 while the 55-inch and 65-inch variants will cost you Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 55,999, respectively. Lastly, all these TVs will be available via Amazon starting today i.e. October 20.
