OPPO has launched its first-ever smartwatch, the OPPO Watch, in China. The wearable comes with an Apple Watch-like design while offering features such as AMOLED screen, eSIM support, sleep tracking, and heart-rate monitoring. OPPO Watch vs Apple Watch Series 5: Design
The Apple Watch Series 5, offered in 40mm and 44mm sizes, can be picked up in aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and ceramic cases. As for design, it offers a squarish form-factor with slim bezels and rounded corners. The OPPO Watch comes in 41mm (aluminum) and 46mm (aluminum or stainless steel) variants and features an Apple Watch-like design with curved screen edges.

The OPPO Watch 41mm model has a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with 320x360 pixels resolution, whereas the 46mm variant has a larger 1.91-inch screen with 402x476 pixels resolution. Further, both smartwatches are water-resistant up to 50m.

The Watch Series 5 model comes with an upgraded S5 chipset, a W3 wireless connectivity chip, 32GB of built-in storage, and all-day battery life.

In India, the Apple Watch Series 5 starts at Rs. 40,900 for the base-end 40mm GPS-only model. The OPPO Watch is currently only available in China, and it starts at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 15,000).
How do things stack up?
While both smartwatches are great in their own right, making the choice is fairly simple. If you are an Android user, buy OPPO Watch, considering Apple Watch doesn't support Android. If you have an iPhone, you can get the Watch Series 5. However, going by just the features and overall performance, the Apple Watch Series 5 is a more complete option to consider.
