Oppo to launch F7 in India on March 27
Chinese phone maker Oppo will launch its new flagship smartphone, called the Oppo F7, in India on March 27. After the success of the selfie-centric Oppo F5 smartphone in the country, which was launched last year, the company is set to introduce its successor in the Indian market, skipping the name 'F6.' Oppo India has already released a teaser for the upcoming product.
Everybody wants the notch
An Indian cricketer to be Oppo's new brand ambassador
According to the image posted by the company, the Oppo F7 will feature a full-screen display and an iPhone X-like notch. Further, an Indian cricketer is most likely to be the company's new brand ambassador.
What can the notch do?
The Oppo F7 looks very similar to the Oppo R15 smartphone that is yet to be launched in China. The latter has been subjected to several rumors, including a 6.28-inch display and the notch. Users will be able to reportedly access applications by tapping one side of the notch and shortcuts like DND mode and screenshots by tapping the other side of the notch.
