OPPO Reno7 4G, with Snapdragon 680 chip, goes official
OPPO has launched a new Reno7 series handset, the Reno7 4G, in Indonesia. It is priced at IDR 5,199,000 (around Rs. 27,500). The phone is listed for pre-orders on the company's Indonesian website and will be available from April 2. As for the highlights, it features a Full-HD+ AMOLED display, a 64MP main camera, and a Snapdragon 680 chip.
Why does this story matter?
The Reno7 4G is the latest addition to OPPO's Reno7 series. However, it is the first in the series without 5G connectivity. In Indonesia, it joins the Reno7 5G and the Reno7 Z 5G. The phone has specifications similar to Reno7 Z 5G, which is powered by Snapdragon 695 chip. What makes it stand out from the rest is its distinct leather-clad rear design.
The smartphone features a 90Hz AMOLED display
The OPPO Reno7 4G features a left-aligned punch-hole cut-out, a prominent bottom bezel, and an in-display fingerprint reader. On the rear, it sports a rectangular camera unit. The handset bears a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is offered in Cosmic Black and Sunset Orange color options.
It flaunts a 64MP main camera
The OPPO Reno7 4G sports a triple rear camera setup, including a 64MP (f/1.7) main shooter, a 2MP (f/3.3) macro lens, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, it has a 32MP (f/2.4) selfie snapper.
It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging
The OPPO Reno7 4G draws power from a Snapdragon 680 SoC, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it boots Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1 and houses a 4,500mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset offers support for 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
