OPPO Reno S launch date tipped, specs and price leaked
OPPO is set to expand its "Reno" series of smartphones with a new flagship model called the Reno S. According to 91Mobiles, the handset "will be launched in the Indian market in the first week of December and will be available via offline as well as online stores." Notably, the report has also leaked the specs and price of the handset. Here's our roundup.
OPPO Reno S: At a glance
At present we don't have any renders or images of the Reno S to know about its design. However, considering the Reno series smartphones either have pop-up camera design or familiar waterdrop notches, we can expect one of them. Further, an all-glass body, AMOLED screen with full-HD+ resolution and an integrated fingerprint sensor are also on the cards.
OPPO Reno S to offer a 64MP camera setup
According to the report, the OPPO Reno S will come with a 64MP main sensor. However, we don't know about other sensors that would accompany this mighty lens. On the front, we expect to see a single selfie snapper.
The phone will also get 65W wired fast charging
Under the hood, the Reno S is likely to be powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 855 Plus. The phone is also tipped to come with 65W Super VOOC 2.0 fast-charging technology that is claimed to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in less than 27 minutes. Further, the handset should offer all the latest connectivity options, given it'll be a flagship model.
Reno S to be priced over Rs. 40,000
The report has claimed that Reno will arrive in India in the first week of December and that it is expected to be priced "above Rs. 40,000." Meanwhile, more details would emerge over the coming weeks.
