OPPO Reno Ace 2 spotted on TENAA, key specifications revealed
Chinese tech giant OPPO is all set to launch its flagship handset, the Reno Ace 2, in its home country next month. Now, just days ahead of its launch, the handset has been spotted on certification site TENAA, revealing some of its key details. As per the listing, the phone will sport a punch-hole design and offer 65W fast-charging support. Here are more details.
How will it look like?
Going by the leaked images, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 will sport an edge-to-edge screen with a small display cut-out at the top left corner. On the rear, the circular module will accommodate a quad-lens camera setup. The phone is tipped to offer a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ resolution and an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Plus, it will offer a 48MP quad camera
The quad rear camera setup on the Reno Ace 2 will comprise a respectable 48MP primary lens, paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a couple of 2MP lenses for macro photography and depth sensing. Up front, the phone will house a 16MP selfie snapper.
All the important stuff
The Reno Ace 2 is likely to draw power from a 5G-ready Snapdragon 865 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It is expected to house a 4,000mAh battery and support 65W wired and 40W wireless fast-charging. Moreover, the phone would run on Android 10-based ColorOS 7 and come with standard connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Type-C port.
And, what will be the pricing?
There is no word on the pricing of the OPPO Reno Ace 2 as of now. However, looking at the updates, the phone is expected to carry a significant premium over its predecessor Reno Ace that starts at CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs. 32,000).
