OPPO Reno 3 series smartphones to be launched on December-26
OPPO is all set to launch the Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro smartphones in its home country on December 26. At the same event, the company will also introduce its truly wireless earbuds, the Enco Free. Notably, the registration page of the upcoming phones has gone live, revealing the design and key specifications of both the models. Here's our roundup.
How will the smartphones look like?
According to the listing page, the Pro model will feature a curved display with a punch-hole design, while the standard Reno 3 will sport a familiar waterdrop notched look. The smartphones will reportedly offer full-HD+ AMOLED screens and an under-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from that, the Reno 3 Pro is also tipped to come with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations.
For the shutterbugs
For photography, both the Reno 3 Pro and Reno 3 will reportedly house 48MP quad rear cameras. The main sensor on the Pro model will be accompanied by 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the standard Reno 3 will house 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a couple of 2MP sensors for macro photography and depth sensing.
For the selfie lovers
Up front, the Reno 3 Pro is tipped to house a respectable 32MP selfie snapper, while the standard Reno 3 will feature a smaller 16MP snapper for selfies, video calling, and face unlock.
Here's a look at the internals
The Reno 3 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor, while the Reno 3 will pack a 7-series octa-core chipset that supports 5G networks. As for memory options, the handsets are likely to offer upto 12GB RAM and upto 256GB expandable storage. Moreover, both the models will provide dual-mode 5G support and run on the company's latest ColorOS 7 UI.
Alongside, the company will launch Enco Free earbuds
Apart from the aforementioned smartphones, the Chinese tech giant will also launch its truly wireless earbuds, the OPPO Enco Free. The specifications and features of the earbuds are not known as of now. However, a recent teaser has revealed that it will look similar to Huawei FreeBuds 2 and will be offered in black, pink, and white color options.
