India-bound Reno 3 to feature 44MP front camera
OPPO is gearing up to launch the Reno 3 in international markets soon. The global variant of the handset will reportedly be different from the China-specific Reno 3 that went official last year. In the latest development, tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed some of the key details of the upcoming phone including a 44MP front camera and Helio P90 chipset. Here are more details.
How will it look like?
Going by the reports, the global variant of Reno 3 will come with the same waterdrop notched design as the Chinese model. The handset will offer a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with a full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, the gradient finished panel will sport a quad-camera setup and an LED flash.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The main camera setup on the OPPO Reno 3 will comprise a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 13MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens, an 8MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome lens. Up front, the handset will house a mighty 44MP selfie camera, similar to what we saw on the recently-launched Reno 3 Pro.
Under the hood
Unlike the China-specific Reno 3 which houses a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor, the global variant will come with a MediaTek Helio P90 chipset. The handset will run on Android 10-based Color OS 7 and is likely to offer 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Apart from that, it will house a 4,025mAh battery and come with support for all the standard connectivity options.
And, what will be the pricing?
There is no official or unofficial word regarding the pricing of OPPO Reno 3 in India as of now. However, considering the Reno 3 Pro starts at Rs. 29,990, we expect the standard model to be priced around Rs. 25,000.
