OPPO K1 with in-display sensor to launch on February 6
Flipkart has confirmed that OPPO will launch its K1 smartphone in India on February 6. The phone, which features an in-display fingerprint sensor, full-HD screen, 25MP selfie camera, and mid-level internals, will be offered at an "unbelievable price", as per Flipkart's listing. To recall, OPPO K1 was launched in China last year at a starting price of CNY 1,599 (Rs. 16,900). Here's our roundup.

Up front, the phone sports a waterdrop notch with a slim bottom bezel to boast of a 91% screen-to-body ratio. On the back, there is a gradient design on the curved glass while the dual camera setup has some golden accents. Further, the OPPO K1 features a 6.4-inch (1080x2340 pixels) full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an in-screen fingerprint sensor.

The OPPO K1 features a dual rear-camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/1.7) main sensor, paired with a 2MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor and LED flash. Up front, the waterdrop notch houses a 25MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper. Moreover, both the rear and front cameras offer several AI-based image enhancement features as well.

The OPPO K1 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). Under the hood, the phone packs a 3,600mAh battery and runs Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2 Further, it packs all the standard sensors and connectivity options including dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/A-GPS, and GLONASS.
Pricing and availability
In China, OPPO K1 costs CNY 1,599 (Rs. 16,900) and CNY 1,799 (Rs. 19,000) for the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants, respectively. Hence, the "unbelievable price" at which the phone will arrive in India should be under Rs. 20,000. Lastly, the handset could come in Gogh Blue and Mocha Red colors and is likely to go on sale via Flipkart shortly after the launch.
