OPPO Find X2 could be launched on March 6: Report
OPPO Find X2, the much-awaited flagship smartphone which was scheduled to be announced at the MWC 2020, will reportedly be launched at an event on March 6. The handset has been spotted on a Vietnamese online retail platform, Shopee. Separately, previous leaks have tipped that the phone will offer a 120Hz display and pack a Snapdragon 865 chipset. OPPO Find X2: At a glance
It is still unclear if the Find X2 will retain the all-screen notch-less look of its predecessor, the Find X, or get a different design. However, the phone is tipped to sport a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. Also, the leaks suggest that the user will have the freedom to choose between full-HD+ and QHD+ resolution and 60Hz or 120Hz refresh rate.
The handset will offer 48MP triple rear camera for shutterbugs
In terms of optics, OPPO Find X2 is expected to offer a triple-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, paired with a 13MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens, and an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor. For selfies, video calling, and face unlock, the smartphone will house a respectable 32MP (f/2.4) front-facing snapper.
Under the hood
The OPPO Find X2 will reportedly be powered by a 5G-ready Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor, coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it would run Android 10-based ColorOS 7 and pack a solid 4,065mAh battery. Moreover, the phone is likely to offer 65W wired and 30W wireless fast-charging support, respectively.
And, what about connectivity options?
OPPO Find X2 will come with support for latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Further, it would pack all the standard sensors including an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, and e-compass.
