OPPO Find N5 debuts as world's slimmest foldable smartphone
What's the story
OPPO has expanded its foldable smartphone portfolio with the launch of Find N5.

It is priced at SG $2,499, which translates to about $1,867 USD and ₹1.62 lakh.
Design innovation
Find N5's design and build: A closer look
The Find N5's slim profile can be attributed to its Titanium Flexion Hinge, which is 26% smaller than the one on its predecessor, the Find N3.
Despite being smaller, the new hinge offers better rigidity.
The phone also sports a complex 3D-printed titanium wing panel and a blend of carbon fiber material to keep its weight down to just 229gm.
Durability features
Find N5 sets new standards in water resistance
Along with being slim and light, the Find N5 also features the world's first IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance rating for a foldable phone.
This means it can withstand pressurized water jets of hot water and submersion.
The frame of the phone is made from durable 7000 series aluminum, which further adds to its robustness.
Display technology
Find N5 features an 8.12-inch LTPO OLED main screen
The Find N5 sports an 8.12-inch LTPO OLED main screen with FHD+ resolution and 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The panel offers a 9.9:9 aspect ratio and can go as high as 2,100 nits peak brightness.
It also gets a secondary outer screen of 6.62-inch with similar specs but a slightly different 20.7:9 aspect ratio and higher peak brightness of up to 2,450 nits.
