OPPO F9 Pro smartphone: Everything we know so far
As the successor to its F7 smartphone, Chinese electronics giant OPPO is now working to launch the F9 and F9 Pro. However, going by the teasers, the company is expected to unveil only the OPPO F9 Pro model in India. In the latest teaser, OPPO has revealed the key specs and design of the upcoming F9 Pro. Here's everything we know.
OPPO F9 Pro: At a glance
The teaser shows the front and back of the OPPO F9 Pro. Up front, there is a re-designed display with a water droplet-like notch that houses the front camera while the earpiece is concealed at the top edge above the camera. Further, the phone gets a prominent bottom bezel, and a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash - similar to OPPO R15.
What else do we know about the OPPO F9 Pro?
The official teaser confirms that the phone will come with proprietary VOOC flash charging that is rated to provide 2 hours of talk time with only 5 minutes of charging. Notably, the OPPO Find X also comes with the same fast charging technology. Further, F9 Pro is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor but there isn't any confirmation yet.
What can we expect from the OPPO F9 Pro?
Considering the phone is a successor to the OPPO F7 and also happens to be the 'Pro' model, it's a safe guess that it will be a considerable upgrade over the F7. The OPPO F7, launched in March this year, features a 6.23-inch full-HD+ display, 16MP rear camera, 25MP selfie shooter, MediaTek Helio P60 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage.
