OPPO A9 2020, featuring 48MP camera, to launch on September-10
Chinese tech giant OPPO is all set to launch the A9 2020 in India. The company has sent media invites for the launch event which is scheduled for 12pm on September 10. The press invite also reveals that the phone will house quad rear cameras. Meanwhile, the upcoming smartphone is said to be the successor to A9, which was launched earlier this year.

The OPPO A9 2020 was recently spotted on company's official Vietnam Facebook page, revealing its key specifications like battery capacity and memory options. Separately, IndiaShopps has also leaked the information about display and processor of the upcoming smartphone.

Going by the leaks, OPPO A9 2020 will feature a waterdrop notched design with a slim bezel at the bottom. On the rear, it will house four cameras and a physical fingerprint scanner. It is said to sport a 6.53-inch LCD display with an HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution. Moreover, it is likely to be offered in White, Blue, Purple, and Black color options.

The OPPO A9 2020 is expected to house quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, a 2MP tertiary sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the handset is tipped to sport a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The OPPO A9 2020, according to leaks, will draw power from Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor. The company will pair this chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. It is expected to pack a solid 5,000mAh battery and run Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.1. Lastly, it should get all latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, VoLTE, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and a headphone jack.

In India, the OPPO A9 2020 is expected to arrive at a price of around Rs. 15,000. However, official details will be announced during the launch event itself, which is scheduled for September 10.
