OPPO A54, A74 5G to debut in India next week
OPPO will launch its A-series of smartphones, the A54 and A74 5G, in India on April 19 and April 20, respectively. To recall, the A54 and A74 5G are already available in the international markets with an LCD display, up to four rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery. The A74 5G offers a 90Hz Full-HD+ display
OPPO A54 and A74 5G feature a punch-hole design with a prominent bottom bezel and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, they offer up to four cameras. The former bears a 6.51-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio, while the latter comes with a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
For selfies, they have a 16MP front camera
OPPO A54 packs a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth lens. Meanwhile, the A74 5G comes with a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. On the front, both the models sport a 16MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
They offer support for 18W fast-charging
OPPO A54 and A74 5G are powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 and a Snapdragon 480 processor, respectively, combined with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. They run on Android 11-based ColorOS and pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. For connectivity, they offer support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
OPPO A54, A74 5G: Pricing
The official pricing details of the OPPO A54 and A74 5G in India will be announced at the time of the launch. However, for reference, the A54 is priced at around Rs. 13,600 in Indonesia, while the A74 5G costs around Rs. 21,000 in Thailand.
