OPPO A3s launched in India for Rs. 10,900
As the latest entrant in an already crowded budget-range segment, OPPO has launched the A3s smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 10,990, the smartphone will be available on sale from July 15 via Amazon, Flipkart and Paytm, and other offline sales partners. The key highlights of the phone are its notch-based 'Super Full View' display and 4,230mAh battery. Here is our roundup.
OPPO A3s: At a glance
Up front, the phone gets an in-trend notch-based display with a chin on the bottom to achieve an 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. On the rear, it gets a dual camera setup but misses a fingerprint sensor as it relies on face unlock technology. The phone features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display and will be available in Dark Purple and Red color variants.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The upcoming OPPO A3s will sport a dual rear camera setup comprising 13MP, f/2.2 primary sensor and a 2MP, f/2.4 secondary sensor. The primary camera offers Bokeh mode and records videos at 1080p. Up front, there is an 8MP, f/2.2 sensor with a fixed focal length. The front camera comes with OPPO's AI Beauty 2.0 feature for enhancing selfies.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity options, the OPPO A3s includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone packs 4,230mAh battery, runs Android Oreo 8.1-based ColorOS 5.1 and supports dual Nano-SIM cards.
OPPO A3s also gets a music party feature
The phone also comes with a Music Party feature that allows other OPPO smartphones, running ColorOS 5.1 or higher, to connect together and stream the same song simultaneously for greater volume output.
