OPPO A3s price reduced again, now starts at Rs. 8,990
OPPO has once again slashed the price of its mid-range A3s smartphone in India. According to Mumbai-based Mahesh Telecom, the base variant of OPPO A3s has received a price cut of Rs. 1,000. This means you can now buy the OPPO A3s with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage for Rs. 8,990. Here's more about the OPPO A3s.
New price is effective across online and offline sales channels
Previously, OPPO A3s received a Rs. 1,000 price in October
OPPO A3 was launched in India in July at a price of Rs. 10,990. However, in October, the company introduced a price cut of Rs. 1,000 to offer the 2GB RAM/16GB variant of the phone for Rs. 9,990 and the 3GB RAM/32GB storage model at Rs. 11,990. Now, the latest price cut of Rs. 1,000 is applicable to the 2GB/16GB variant only.

Up front, the phone has an in-trend notch-based display with a chin on the bottom to achieve an 88.8% screen-to-body ratio. On the rear, it gets a dual camera setup but misses a fingerprint sensor as it relies on face unlock technology. The phone features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display and is available in Dark Purple and Red color variants.

The OPPO A3s sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) secondary sensor. The primary camera offers Bokeh mode and can record 1080p videos at 30fps. Up front, there is an 8MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper with a fixed focal length and it comes with OPPO's AI Beauty 2.0 feature for image enhancements.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 2GB/3GB RAM and 16GB/32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. In terms of connectivity options, the OPPO A3s includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone packs 4,230mAh battery, runs Android Oreo 8.1-based ColorOS 5.1 and supports dual Nano-SIM cards.
