OPPO A35, with Helio P35 chipset, goes official in China
Chinese tech giant OPPO has launched its latest A-series smartphone, the A35, in its home country. In terms of the design and specifications, the handset mirrors the OPPO A15s, which went official in India last year. The device comes with an HD+ display, triple rear cameras, a Helio P35 chipset, and a 4,230mAh battery. Here are more details.
The handset is offered in three color variants
The OPPO A35 features a waterdrop notch design with a prominent bottom bezel. On the rear, it houses a square-shaped triple camera module and a physical fingerprint reader. The handset bears a 6.52-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate and a 60Hz touch sampling rate. It is offered in Ice Jade White, Glass Black, and Mist Sea Blue color options.
There is an 8MP selfie camera
The OPPO A35 sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary lens, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro shooter, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, it has an 8MP (f/2.0) front-facing camera.
It boots ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10
The OPPO A35 draws power from a MediaTek Helio P35 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2 and packs a 4,230mAh battery with up to 10W charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device offers support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a headphone jack, and a micro-USB port.
OPPO A35: Pricing and availability
OPPO is yet to reveal the official pricing and availability details of the A35 model. However, according to a recently-leaked China Telecom listing, the handset may cost around CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 15,000) for the 4GB/128GB variant.
