OPPO A31 to be launched in India next week: Report
OPPO A31, the mid-range smartphone which was launched in Indonesia a few day back, is all set to hit the Indian shelves next week, according to 91Mobiles. Citing leaked marketing material and retail chain sources, the publication has claimed that the phone will be launched in the upcoming week, and will come with a host of launch offers. OPPO A31: At a glance
OPPO A31 gets a waterdrop notched design with a prominent bezel at the bottom. On the rear, the polycarbonate panel houses a triple camera setup with LED flash and a physical fingerprint scanner. The phone features a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ (720x1600 pixels) resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, the India-specific version will be offered in Fantasy White and Mystery Black color options.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
On the imaging front, the OPPO A31 houses a triple-lens rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and another 2MP (f/2.4) lens to capture depth details. Up front, the handset houses an 8MP (f/2.0) selfie snapper. Further, both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps.
Under the hood
The OPPO A31 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor, paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based ColorOS 6.1 and packs a solid 4,230mAh battery. In addition, the phone offers all the latest connectivity options including support for dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, VoLTE, micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
And, what about pricing and availability?
There is no word on the India pricing of the OPPO A31 yet. But, considering that the phone costs IDR 2,599 (approximately Rs. 13,600) in Indonesia, we expect it to arrive at a similar price. Further, there will be 5% cashback on payments using HDFC Bank, IDFC First Bank, Yes Bank, and ICICI Bank cards, and data benefits worth Rs. 7,050 from Reliance Jio.
