OnePlus is all set to launch its first-ever smartwatch, alongside the flagship 9 series of smartphones, on March 23. In the latest development, Unbox Therapy has revealed the OnePlus Watch in full glory, showcasing its round dial and other highlights. According to CEO Pete Lau, the device is made from "a premium material never before seen in a smartwatch." Here's our roundup.
OnePlus Watch will come with an IP68 rating
The OnePlus Watch will sport a 46mm round dial and a metallic body. It will be offered with swappable straps. The bottom side of the device will house all the sensors required for monitoring vitals like heart rate and SpO2 levels. It will boast of an IP68-rated dust and water resistance, and will be offered in Black as well as Silver color options.
It is likely to run on a proprietary operating system
The OnePlus Watch is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 4100 chipset and will run on a custom operating system instead of Google's Wear OS. It will come with 4GB of internal storage and support Warp Charge technology that will provide a week-long battery life with just 20 minutes of charging. The wearable is expected to arrive in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants.
It will also allow you to make calls
The OnePlus Watch will come with features like heart rate monitoring, sleep and stress tracking, automatic workout detection, SpO2 monitoring, swimming mode, and other activity tracking modes. It will also let you make and receive phone calls, control music, reply to notifications, as well as control some functions of your OnePlus TV.

The official pricing and availability details of the OnePlus Watch will be announced at the time of the launch, which is scheduled for March 23. However, it is likely to cost around Rs. 20,000.
