OnePlus TV to become available during Amazon's Great Indian Festival
The upcoming OnePlus TV, expected to launch in India later this month, will go on sale during Amazon's Great Indian Festival sale, according to a teaser page activated by the e-commerce giant. The OnePlus TV logo can be seen in the 'New Launches' section of the teaser page, suggesting that the flagship TV will be one of the highlights of the sale. Here's more.

Notably, Amazon is yet to announce the date of its Great Indian Festival sale. However, we expect the festive sale to kick-off on September 29 - the same time as rival Flipkart would begin its Big Billion Days sale in the country.
OnePlus TV will offer a 55-inch 4K QLED display
Now, coming to the specifications, several official teasers have already confirmed that OnePlus's maiden television offering, the OnePlus TV, will feature a 55-inch QLED display with kevlar-like back panel and swivel stand. The screen will support 4K resolution as well as Dolby Vision. The company has shared that the TV will pack 8 speakers and support Dolby Atmos to offer 50W audio output.
OnePlus TV to pack flagship grade internals
The OnePlus TV is tipped to be backed by a MediaTek MT5670 chipset, paired with 3GB RAM and an in-house Gamma Color Magic processor. Under the hood, the TV will run a custom version of Android TV 9, offering access to Google Assistant, Chromecast, and Google Play Store. It will also come with a rechargeable, Bluetooth-enabled smart remote controller and Wi-Fi support.

Reportedly, the OnePlus TV will make its global debut in the last week of September. The word is that the launch will happen on September 26, alongside the OnePlus 7T-series smartphones.
