OnePlus TV's new teasers reveal full design, confirm smart features
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has shared a couple of new teasers of the upcoming OnePlus TV, revealing the full design of the premium, flagship television as well as some of its smart features. Several teasers have also confirmed the presence of a QLED 55-inch screen, 8 speakers, and kevlar-like back panel with swivel stand. Here's a roundup of all the latest scoop.
OnePlus TV: Design and display
As per teasers, the OnePlus TV will feature ultra-slim bezels on three sides and an ever-so-slightly thicker bottom bezel. On the back, it will have a kevlar-like panel with a swivel module pivoted to an oval-shaped metallic table stand. The flagship television will also come with a 55-inch QLED screen with 4K resolution and 8 Dolby Atmos-powered speakers that'll offer 50W audio output.

We know the OnePlus TV will offer seamless connectivity with smartphones, allowing for faster typing, easier searching, and enhanced syncing. The company will provide a Remote app for your smartphone using which you can switch between apps with one-touch or select from your favorite shows/movies or channels. The TV will also automatically lower the volume when you receive a call on your smartphone.
OnePlus TV to pack flagship grade internals
The OnePlus TV is tipped to be backed by a MediaTek MT5670 chipset, paired with 3GB RAM and an in-house Gamma Color Magic processor. Under the hood, the TV will run a custom version of Android TV 9, offering access to Google Assistant, Chromecast, and Google Play Store. It will also come with a rechargeable, Bluetooth-enabled smart remote controller and Wi-Fi support.
OnePlus TV will launch in India on September 26
The OnePlus TV will make its global debut in India on September 26, alongside the OnePlus 7T-series smartphones. As for availability, the smart television will go on sale during Amazon's Great Indian Festival sale starting September 29.
