OnePlus 6 fresh teaser reveals design changes and specs
In yet another teaser, OnePlus has tweeted a photo of the OnePlus 6 that shows the upcoming smartphone placed under its predecessor, the OnePlus 5T. While the teaser doesn't reveal much, a close inspection and comparison with OnePlus 5T hints at the new design changes we will see on the OnePlus 6. Here's what we can expect in the upcoming OnePlus 6.
OnePlus to feature a "refined form factor"
Teaser reveals new position for alert slider on OnePlus 6
We can see that the volume rockers have been re-positioned and the alert slider has been placed on the right. Moreover, the antenna lines do not extend into the back panel. This means the OnePlus 6 may get a glass back which will allow wireless charging. Lastly, OnePlus 6 is seen sporting a metal frame.
OnePlus will support gestures; slider doubles up as focus adjuster
OnePlus had earlier teased that the alert slider on OnePlus 6 will come with a "slide to focus" feature. This suggests that OnePlus may bring back telephoto sensor and one could 'slide' to switch between the wide-angle and telephoto lens. Moreover, the company has also teased that OnePlus 6 will focus on speed and performance along with support for iPhone X-like gestures.

OnePlus 6 boasts of a 90% screen-to-body ratio
In terms of design, several leaks have confirmed the presence of a notch (which can be hidden), dual-rear camera setup and a rear fingerprint sensor as well. By embracing the notch, OnePlus 6 will offer a taller 19:9 display with a 90% screen-to-body ratio on its upcoming flagship. Earlier reports had suggested that the smartphone will feature a 6.28-inch display with a 2280*1080 resolution.
OnePlus will leverage Android to hide the notch
OnePlus will make the notch visible by having a transparent notification bar. However, users will be able to hide it through the use of a notification status bar which will blend the notch into the dark parts of the Android UI and make it disappear.
