OnePlus partners with Reliance Digital to boost offline sales
In a bid to create more retail touch points, OnePlus has partnered with Reliance Digital to sell its smartphones. Moreover, customers would be able to experience, and purchase OnePlus smartphones and accessories at online prices. Notably, the upcoming OnePlus 6T flagship will also retail across all Reliance Digital stores alongside OnePlus brand stores. Here's everything to know.
Customers can also avail Reliance Digital's promotional offers
The partnership is crucial considering customers can now get a hands-on experience of OnePlus smartphones at a Reliance Digital offline store in their city. This, however, has so far been limited to OnePlus brand stores which currently are in select Indian cities only. Further, customers can also benefit from additional promotional offers run by Reliance Digital stores.
OnePlus 6T's launch and availability
Meanwhile, OnePlus is all set to launch its latest flagship - OnePlus 6T - in India on October 30. Notably, the phone will be available online via Amazon and OnePlus e-store. Further, it will be available offline via OnePlus brand stores and Reliance Digital stores.
OnePlus 6T variants and their India prices
As per a recent leak, the OnePlus 6T base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be priced at Rs. 37,999. The mid-end variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will cost Rs. 40,999 while the top-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will be priced at Rs. 44,999. OnePlus 6T: At a glance
OnePlus 6T will feature an OPPO R17-like waterdrop notched display to boast a higher screen-to-body ratio of around 90% - a fair upgrade from 84% on OnePlus 6. Reportedly, the phone is expected to pack a 6.41-inch full-HD (2340x1080pixel) AMOLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. Moreover, the new design and Screen Unlock gadgetry will kill the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and the 3.5mm jack.
What else to expect from OnePlus 6T?
OnePlus 6T will see the biggest jump over any previous 'T' version upgrade by the company. That said, it will retain all the flagship internals of the OnePlus 6 - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Moreover, we should also see improved optics on the dual-rear camera setup, considering a triple-rear camera is not happening.
