New leak reveals key specifications of OnePlus Pad 5G
OnePlus is working on its first-ever tablet, the Pad 5G. In the latest development, key specifications of the device have surfaced online, courtesy of tipster Sam aka @Shadow_Leak. The tablet is expected to be launched in the first half of 2022. As per the leak, it will feature an AMOLED display, a 13MP main camera, a Snapdragon 865 chip, and a 10,900mAh battery.

First Realme, then OPPO, and now OnePlus - it seems that the members of the BBK group are taking the tablet business quite seriously. OnePlus is looking at a busy 2022 with recent reports suggesting that the company is gearing up to launch several smartphones. Add to that its first-ever tablet, and we may have the answer to the busiest manufacturer of 2022.
The tablet will sport a 12.4-inch AMOLED display
OnePlus Pad 5G will feature a conventional rectangular screen with proportionate bezels and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it will sport a dual camera unit. The tablet will bear a 12.4-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 16:10 and presumably a 90Hz or higher refresh rate. It should be offered in at least two color options.
It will sport a 13MP main camera
The OnePlus Pad 5G will be equipped with a dual rear camera unit, comprising a 13MP main shooter and a 5MP secondary sensor. Up front, it will have an 8MP selfie snapper.
A Snapdragon 865 chip will power the device
The OnePlus Pad 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 SoC, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, it may boot either Android 12 or Android 12L OS and will house a 10,900mAh battery with 45W fast-charging support. In terms of connectivity, the tablet will offer support for 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
OnePlus Pad 5G: Pricing and availability
The OnePlus Pad 5G is tipped to carry a price-tag of CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 36,000) for the sole 6GB/128GB model. As per a leak, the tablet has already entered production in the European and Eurasian regions. Therefore, we can expect it to arrive soon.
