OnePlus Nord N100 receives OxygenOS update in North America, EU
Chinese tech giant OnePlus has started rolling out a new OxygenOS update for its budget Nord N100 handset in the EU and North America. Though the official changelog is vague, it suggests that this update has improved system stability and fixed known issues. The firmware has also bumped the Android security patch on the device to March 2021. Here are more details.

The latest firmware for OnePlus Nord N100 in North America sports version ID OxygenOS 10.5.7 - 10.5.7.BE81AA, while that for the EU is titled OxygenOS 10.5.9 - 10.5.9.BE83BA. The OTA update is currently being rolled out in a staged manner.
The handset sports a 6.52-inch HD+ screen
The OnePlus Nord N100 has an edge-to-edge screen with a punch-hole cut-out and a noticeable bottom bezel. On the rear, there is a triple camera setup and a fingerprint reader for secure biometric authentication. The device bears a 6.52-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) LCD screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9. It is up for grabs solely in a Midnight Frost shade.
It has an 8MP selfie snapper
The OnePlus Nord N100 has a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) macro camera, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth lens. On the front, there is an 8MP (f/2.0) snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

The OnePlus Nord N100 is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 460 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 10 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. It offers support for the latest connectivity options, including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
