Ahead of launch, OnePlus 9, 9 Pro's official renders leaked
OnePlus is all set to launch its 9 series of smartphones on March 23. The line-up will include the flagship 9 and 9 Pro models. In the latest development, WinFuture has shared the official renders of the handsets, revealing their color options and design details. According to the report, the OnePlus 9 may have a plastic frame and it won't feature any antennae bands.
The handsets will offer up to 120Hz screen refresh rate
OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will feature a punch-hole display with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The former will bear a 120Hz, 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen, while the latter will have a 120Hz, 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) AMOLED display. The vanilla model will be offered in Blue, Purple, and Black colors, and the Pro version will come in Black, Green, and Silver colors.
They will sport a 48MP main camera
OnePlus 9 will pack a triple rear camera unit comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. The 9 Pro will offer four rear cameras, including a 48MP main sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP sensor. Up front, they will offer a 16MP and 32MP selfie snapper, respectively.
They will be backed by a Snapdragon 888 processor
OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. They will boot Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the duo should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro: Pricing and availability
The official pricing details of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be announced at the time of launch on March 23. However, considering the expected specifications, the handsets are likely to start at around Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 55,000, respectively.
