OnePlus 9 Pro's Morning Mist color variant officially previewed
OnePlus is all set to launch its flagship 9 series of smartphones on March 23. The line-up includes the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro models. In the latest development, the company's CEO Pete Lau has revealed the 9 Pro's Morning Mist color variant. As per Lau, it "takes 30 steps and more than 25 days to create the final finish on this extraordinary glass."
The phone will offer a QHD+ display with curved edges
The OnePlus 9 Pro will sport a punch-hole design with slim bezels and curved edges. On the rear, it will pack a quad camera unit. The handset will bear a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) AMOLED screen with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will also offer an in-display fingerprint sensor for secure authentication of biometric data.
It will sport a 32MP selfie snapper
OnePlus 9 Pro will debut a brand-new Hasselblad-engineered quad rear camera setup comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP distortion-free ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto camera, and a 2MP depth shooter. For selfies, it will pack a 32MP front-facing camera.
It will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 chipset
OnePlus 9 Pro will be fueled by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It will run on Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W wired and 45W wireless fast-charging support. For connectivity, the device should offer support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G, and a Type-C port.
OnePlus 9 Pro: Pricing and availability
The official pricing details of the OnePlus 9 Pro will be announced at the time of the launch, which is scheduled for March 23. However, considering the expected specifications the handset is likely to be priced at around Rs. 55,000.
