OnePlus 9 series to feature 1-120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate
OnePlus is all set to launch its latest flagship smartphones, OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro on March 23. In the latest development, CEO Pete Lau has revealed that the series will sport an LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz. Separately, an official teaser has also confirmed that the Pro version will come with a '5-layer gaming-grade cooling system.'

The phones will offer 10-bit color support
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will feature a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The vanilla 9 model will bear a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED screen, whereas the 9 Pro will sport a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440x3216 pixels) AMOLED screen. The duo will offer a 1-120Hz adaptive screen refresh rate and 10-bit color support.

The 9 Pro will sport a 50MP ultra-wide lens
OnePlus 9 will offer triple rear cameras, including a 48MP main sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto sensor. The 9 Pro will pack a quad rear camera module comprising a 48MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, an 8MP telephoto sensor, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, they will sport a 16MP and 32MP selfie snapper, respectively.
They will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor
OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be fueled by a Snapdragon 888 chipset, combined with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Under the hood, they will run on Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 65W wired fast-charging support. The 9 and 9 Pro models are also tipped to support 30W and 50W wireless charging, respectively.
OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro: Pricing and availability
The official pricing details of the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be announced at the March 23 launch event. However, the handsets are likely to carry a starting price-tag of around Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 55,000, respectively.
