OnePlus 8 Pro leak reveals "Ultramarine blue" and other variants
Just days after bringing us the color variants of the regular OnePlus 8, tipster Ronald Quandt has revealed all the shades we shall see on the Pro version. As per the leaked press renders, the OnePlus 8 Pro will come in a new matte-finished "Ultramarine Blue" color along with Glacial Green and Onyx Black variants that we have already seen on the vanilla model.
Understanding the color variants of the OnePus 8 series
According to reports, the purplish-red "Interstellar Glow" color finish we saw on the OnePlus 8 model will not be offered on the Pro version. Likewise, the deep-blue "Ultramarine Blue" shade will remain exclusive to the OnePlus 8 Pro. However, the matte Glacial Green and glossy Onyx Black color schemes will be available on both the handsets.
OnePlus 8 Pro will feature a curved screen look
The OnePlus 8 Pro, like the vanilla model, will feature a punch-hole design. However, it will have more aggressively curved screen edges and fairly slimmer top and bottom bezels. The handset is also expected to sport a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a built-in MEMC chip that can convert 30fps content to play at 60fps or 120fps.
The handset will offer a 48MP quad-camera arrangement
The OnePlus 8 Pro, according to leaks, will have a quad-camera array comprising a 48MP (f/1.78) Sony IMX689 sensor, an ultra-wide-angle 48MP (f/2.2) Sony IMX586 sensor with 120-degree field-of-view, an 8MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens, and another 5MP camera. The setup will also be aided by laser autofocus and dual-LED flash unit. On the front, it will sport a 16MP selfie snapper.
Under the hood
The OnePlus 8 will be powered by Qualcomm's latest flagship chipset, the 5G-ready Snapdragon 865. It will also get 8GB/12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. Under the hood, the handset will run on Android 10-based Oxygen OS and pack a 4,510mAh battery with 30W wired as well as 30W wireless charging support.
